Oh the Joys of October

Many fun things have happened this month.

My sister Julie and brother-in-law Trent had a baby boy on Jeff's Birthday (October 15th).

My side of the family had our annual Halloween party that my sister Jena puts together. I think it was the best party yet. So sad that Julie, Trent, Garrett, and baby Caleb couldn't come. We missed you guys.
At the party everyone dressed up, ate lots of food, went on a hayride, ate more food, and had some hot chocolate.

Happy Birthday Jeff!

Today, October 15th, is Jeff's Birthday. I meant to do this earlier today, but the day just flies by and now it's almost over. Jeff is such a wonderful husband and father. I just wanted to share some things about him that you may or may not know.

Jeff grew up in Florida. His favorite football team is the FLORIDA GATORS. Jeff's dream job would be to coach college football...

another dream job is to own a ranch and breed horses and do all the fun cowboy stuff.
Jeff is also a great handyman. He can fix and make pretty much anything. He is currently finishing up the shed he built in our backyard.


One of Jeff's favorite places to go is Tennessee. He just loves the Smokey Mountains. His family would vacation there a lot when he was little. We've only been there once together, but Jeff wishes we could go there every year.

Jeff enjoys shooting a gun---whether it's a paintball gun or one of his rifles. This is obviously a play gun in a store. But ya gotta love the face.

We Love Halloween!

We always love the month of October because we get to put up our Halloween decorations.
I put them up weeks ago, but I finally got around to taking a few pictures to share with you.

We have this cute tree that sings a song and the little owls on top sing and bounce up and down. Owen loves to play with it...

My sister, Dana, makes designs on shirts with potato stamps. So cute and clever.

Dana is my little sister. She lives in Idaho, so I don't get to see her as often as I'd like. Miss ya sister---but I'll see ya this weekend. Love ya!
