I just want to put in my two bits about the Twilight movie I saw last night. I went with a bunch of ladies from my ward and neighborhood. Before the movie I went over to Amy's house so we could get all dolled up for the movie.
We sprayed glitter all over our faces, hair, neck, and arms. We also put vampire bite marks on our necks. It looked pretty cool. I even have a pin on my shirt that says, "Bite Me, Edward only please."
The movie started at midnight, but we all got there at about 11 to play trivia, have a raffle, and eat snacks.
I thought the movie was just okay. I tried to go in with low expectations so I wouldn't be too disappointed. I didn't know it was going to be a comedy, but it was. Unfortunately, we laughed in some parts that were not meant to be funny. The beginning and the end were better than the middle. Some parts were extremely cheesy (and comical). Some of the acting was good and some bad.
You should go see it for yourself to decide. I would watch it again, especially if I wanted a good laugh.
This was one of my favorite scenes (I really did like it). I thought it was cute.
One of my very favorite parts of it all the was the Harry Potter trailer we got to see on the big screen. So awesome! Can't wait for that. Here's the link to it.

I hope it helps to not have read the books. If that is the case, I'm in good shape.
I'm not sure when I'll get out to see the movie. It will probably be at least a couple of weeks. I don't want to deal with the crowds. The Harry Potter movie does look like it's going to be really good.
I agree with you on the movie. All right. I LOVE the dress up! You girls look awesome!! The BOOK was WAY better and that is the FIRST time EVER that I have said that!!
I really loved the movie, and I think because it has been a LONG time since I've read the book, so I have forgotten a lot....I think it's awesome you got all dressed up!! FUN!!!!

I didn't love the movie either. I thought it was just okay, but so much better in the book! Isn't it crazy that it ended up being comical!? I love the bite marks, by the way! You are awesome! I love the post just before this one about your boys! I LOVE when they do crazy things. It's not so funny when it's happening, I know, but GREAT times to think and laugh about later!
I agree with you too. The beginning and end were great, but everything in the middle--blah. Most I've talked to said it was okay too. Gina loved it. I hope New Moon is better :0)
Yeah, there was laughing at parts in our theater too. I thought some parts were cheesy, and some story lines strayed too much for my liking, but overall it was pretty good. One thing that really bugged me was the music. For the most part, I hated the background music. Did you notice it?
I LOVED that last scene at the prom too!! That was one of my favorites!
I hear it's better the second time around.. :)
