Here are some things that Benson has done this past week. I don't know why he does them...maybe to drive me completely crazy?
- Benson likes to try and get his own juice. While I was nursing Owen he got out the pitcher that had just a little punch in it and tried to drink out of it (I'm sure he learned this trick from his Daddy). He spilled it all over his clothes and my floor (luckily the hardwood floor). Of course his clothes had to be changed.
- He found some of Jeff's shaving creme, sprayed it out and had a good time with it on his clothes and my carpet. This happened after the punch incident and I had to change his clothes---again!
- Benson has taken off his clothes and his diaper everyday for the last week (sometime twice a day). He usually does it when I put him down for his nap. I'll go up to check on him and he'll be completely naked...just sitting there. The first time I laughed (when Benson couldn't see), but now it's not funny anymore. He'll do it when he's watching TV now too. WHY?! Luckily I check on him before he has had an accident on the floor. I've learned to put a belt on his pants before I put him down for his nap. He may just have to wear a belt all the time now.
- He pooped right before he fell asleep for one of his naps this week. Instead of telling me he pooped, he played in it. He then fell asleep for 2 hours and it dried all over his hands, clothes, and his door. Dry poop is really hard to clean up and it is like forever stink!
I'm sure I've forgotten several other incidents, but you get the idea. Even though he is a crazy 2 and 1/2 year old, I just love the kid. Look at those cute freckles.
Owen loves to stick out his tongue a lot. I caught a good picture of it.

Benson's friend Ammon was playing at our house while I was taking some pictures. I thought Owen was being so cute trying to hug and kiss the boys. I soon realized he was hungry and was trying to eat them.

Owen is 8 months old today. He isn't crawling yet, but he's thinking about it. He rolls a lot to get places. We cut his hair on Sunday. He is so handsome, even without his cool mohawk.

Oh gosh! The playing in poop reminds me of my sister...always. She ate it :( Wow...little owen looks just like you! And benson looks just like your husband!!

Owen is already 8 months old? Where has the time flown. He is soooo big, and sooo cute!
I witnessed the post-shave gel incident. He's sneaky. I guess that they can't start too early...Cole has started to refuse eating from a spoon. Isn't 9 months a little early?? Here's to boys and the crazy things they do!

Maybe Benny Bo is telling you he wants to be potty trained?!?! I always hear different stories about kids playing in their poop and every time I pray my kids don't do that...which they will I'm sure!!
I can't believe Owens hair before you got it cut. It grows like crazy. It sounds like Benson might be ready to be potty trained. I hope you don't go crazy like me trying to potty train Garrett, but it was a miracle he actually pooped in the potty last night.:) Hopefully he can keep going.
I love your kids! I think Owen looks so different with his hair cut and I personally like the mohawk. I can't help it but smile and laugh when I look at all of these pictures! I can't wait to see you guys next week! It has been too long.
WOW what a week! It was very entertaining to read about but I think living it might not be as entertaining!!! At least he is SO CUTE!
Oh boy!!! I keep hearing these kinds of stories from moms with boys. I'm sure Jonas will have his share. That one of Owen smiling DOES look like you. That's exactly what I thought. I like the haircut. His hair grows like yours, I guess.

oh carrie -what fun times :) So sad I am not there to enjoy them with you...love the cute little tongue picture and that Owen wants to eat people. :) ha ha ha! So I need to send you all the cute pics of Benson being so cute in Cali - should I email them? - they are good memories, with no poop! :)
Okay, the poop issue, very gross, but definitely been there. It must be a boy thing. You gotta love them anyway. Owen looks so handsome!

I love it! I don't understand how kids don't think poop stinks. They can sit in a diaper forever or in your case, play in it, and it doesn't bother them. Get the boy some brown play doh.
